The Rover X1 has a standard 1-year warranty from the day after delivery. Note that local consumer laws may affect the final terms in your country.
What is required for a warranty claim?
To process your warranty claim, a valid proof of purchase — such as the original invoice or warranty card — is required. For online purchases, a screenshot of your order details may be requested for verification. Please ensure all documents are complete and legible, as incomplete or unclear submissions may delay the approval process. For any questions, please contact our Customer Service team.
How can I check the warranty policy? Can I still get repairs after the warranty expires?

Sure. Please make sure the product is unused, the packaging remains intact, and all accessories are included. (Note: Under relevant laws and regulations, activated products that affect resale may not qualify for return. (please consult customer service for details)

The complete Rover X1 unit has a total weight of approximately 15 kg (about 33 lbs). Given this substantial weight and its autonomous movement capabilities, it is a safety requirement that children are supervised and kept at a safe distance during operation. To prevent injury, the device must not be lifted or carried by children under any circumstances.
How long is the battery life of the Rover X1? How long does it take to charge?
Under typical mixed-use scenarios: Standard Battery: Provides approximately 90 minutes of runtime. Extended-Capacity Battery: Provides approximately 180 minutes of runtime. Important Notice: The product does not support operation while charging.
What is the Rover X1's maximum speed in Follow Mode?
The maximum speed of the Rover X1 in Follow Mode depends on its currently activated locomotion mode. The corresponding speed limits are:
Leg Mode: Up to 1.2 m/s
Wheel Mode: Up to 2 m/s

How do you control Rover X1?

Does it support programming, and is it beginner-friendly?
Rover X1 provides extensive programming support that is both highly capable and beginner-friendly:
For Beginners: An intuitive graphical programming interface (Scratch) is offered, allowing users to build complex behaviors through simple drag-and-drop actions.
For Developers/Advanced Users: A comprehensive Python SDK is available, enabling deep algorithm customization and secondary development.
Please Note: Advanced secondary development features require the purchase of the Rover X1 Explorer edition. The Scratch programming functionality will be available in the next version of the mobile app.
Can the Rover X1 store media? Where are the captured photos and videos saved? How can they be exported?
Yes. The Rover X1 uses the dedicated mobile app for taking photos and recording videos. All captured media is saved directly to your smartphone's local storage, allowing for convenient viewing, editing, and sharing at any time.
What is the Rover X1's maximum movement speed when operating in Follow Mode?
In Follow Mode, the tracking speed is determined by the maximum speed of the currently active locomotion mode, up to 1.2 m/s in Leg Mode and 2 m/s in Wheel Mode.

What actions can this robot dog perform?
The Rover X1 is capable of executing highly realistic motions, including walking, trotting, forward jumps, and raising a paw for a handshake. It also supports a variety of intelligent operational modes.
What is its payload capacity?
The Rover X1 has a certain payload capacity and features modular interfaces on its top surface. The recommended payload range is 3-5 kilograms, allowing for the stable mounting of accessories such as a gimbal or a small cargo basket.
What are the differences between the Wheeled Mode and the Legged Mode, and how do you switch between them?
● Wheel Mode: Ideal for flat surfaces, providing faster movement with a top speed of 3 m/s.
● Leg Mode: Offers more realistic biomimetic movement, suitable for uneven terrain and interactive scenarios, with an approximate speed of 1.8 m/s.
Switching Instructions: Transitioning between Wheel and Leg Modes involves a physical hardware change. The process requires placing the robot on a level surface and replacing the modules on each leg individually. This mode switch cannot be performed while the device is carrying a payload.
Is the robot waterproof? Can it be used outdoors in the rain?
The product is not waterproof. Do not use it in rainy, wet, submerged, or any other water-exposed conditions to prevent damage to internal components.
Is there a limit to the number of modular expansions?
Multiple accessories can be mounted simultaneously, provided their combined total weight stays within the recommended payload range of 3 to 5 kilograms.
Maintenance & Modifications
Does the Rover X1 support user modification or replacement of its components?
No, it is not supported. During the warranty period, any unauthorized modifications, disassembly, or opening of the housing by the user will immediately void the product warranty.
