Thank you for choosing the products and services provided by Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuejiang," "we," or "us"). We fully recognize the importance of personal information to you. We will strictly comply with applicable laws and regulations, adopt appropriate security protection measures, and make every effort to safeguard the security of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains, in clear and easy-to-understand language, how we process and protect your personal information when you use the various products and services related to the INFFNI ROVER X1. Provisions that have a material impact on your lawful rights and interests have been highlighted in bold to draw your attention.

We strongly recommend that you carefully read and fully understand all contents of this Policy before using the Product and/or Services and make an informed decision independently. If you do not agree with this Policy, we will be unable to process your personal information and may not be able to provide you with complete product functions or services. If you begin to use the Product and/or Services, this shall be deemed that you have fully and completely read and understood all contents of this Policy and consent to our processing and protection of your personal information in accordance with this Policy.

a. This Policy applies to your use, by any means, of all products and services related to the INFFNI ROVER X1 provided by us, including application software and the corresponding intelligent terminal products.

b. The functions and services we provide will be continuously updated and iterated. If a certain function or service is not expressly listed in this Policy but involves the collection of personal information, we will separately inform you of the content, scope, and purpose of such information collection through page prompts, interactive processes, website announcements, or other appropriate means.

c. We will collect your personal information (including sensitive personal information) after obtaining your authorization and consent, and will specify, item by item, the types of personal information collected and their corresponding purposes of use, so that you may clearly understand the categories, reasons, and methods of collection of personal information involved in specific functions. Unless otherwise mandatorily required by applicable laws and regulations, refusal to provide the aforementioned information will only affect your use of the corresponding specific functions and will not affect the normal use of other functions of the Product and/or Services.

d. Unless otherwise specially provided by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, the term "personal information" as used in this Policy refers to all kinds of information, recorded electronically or by other means, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, excluding anonymized information. We will strictly process such information in accordance with this Policy.

I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

We collect and use your personal information for the purposes and under the circumstances described in this Policy.

1.1 Account Registration and Login

When you register as a user of the Product, you may choose to complete registration via email. We will collect your identity verification information (including verification codes and your email address together with verification codes, hereinafter referred to as "Account Information").

If you refuse to provide the foregoing information, you may be unable to complete registration or login, and therefore may not be able to normally use the Product and/or Services.

1.2 Provision of Products or Services

1.2.1 Device Addition via Bluetooth

When you add devices related to the Product and/or Services, you are required to authorize and enable Bluetooth permissions. We will collect your Bluetooth name and device ID for the purpose of enabling Bluetooth pairing between your smartphone and the devices related to the Product and/or Services.

If you refuse to provide the foregoing information, you will be unable to add the relevant devices or experience the full functionality of the Product and/or Services.

1.2.2 Network Connection and Pairing

When connecting devices related to the Product and/or Services, you may choose either AP direct connection mode or Wi-Fi connection mode. We will collect your Wi-Fi information (including network name (SSID), Wi-Fi password, Wi-Fi physical address (BSSID), and Wi-Fi scan results), as well as device information (including device name, device model, device serial number (SN), device identifier, device IP address, and the names and remarks of the devices related to the Product and/or Services that you add), for the purpose of completing network pairing and connecting the devices via a wireless network.

To complete network pairing, you may be required to authorize the enabling of location permissions to identify Wi-Fi addresses; however, we do not collect your geographical location information.

If you refuse to provide the foregoing information, you will be unable to complete network pairing, connect the relevant devices, or experience the full functionality of the Product and/or Services.

1.2.3 AI Voice Interaction Function

When you enable the AI intelligent voice interaction function and interact with terminal devices, we will collect the voice information you send in order to provide intelligent dialogue and action interaction services. After enabling this function, we will collect the wake-up word ("HI ROVER"), voice commands, audio information, and text information generated during your interaction with the robot.

The system will process command content through speech recognition and semantic understanding technologies. Certain basic commands may be processed locally on the device; when connected to a network, voice commands and related audio information may be parsed into text and uploaded to third-party platforms for analysis, after which the results will be transmitted back to the robot to execute corresponding functions. The foregoing processes strictly comply with applicable data protection agreements.

The above information is necessary for providing this function. You may choose whether to use this function. Refusal to provide the foregoing information will only affect the use of this function and will not affect the normal use of other functions of the Product and/or Services. You may manage or disable this function through the voice function settings in the App.

Please note that due to technical characteristics, when using voice functions in private spaces, the generated voice or audio may contain personal information of you or other individuals. You are advised to avoid transmitting sensitive information such as identification numbers, names, phone numbers, account credentials, or passwords through voice interactions.

If the information you voluntarily provide contains personal information of others or sensitive information of third parties, you shall obtain their lawful authorization in advance to avoid infringing upon their lawful rights and interests.

1.2.4 4G Data Services and Payment

To provide you with relevant data processing services, the Product and/or Services are equipped with an eSIM card to enable 4G data services. When you purchase 4G data through the Product and/or Services App, you will be redirected to the eSIM service provider’s page, where the recharge will be completed via a third-party payment service provider (such as PayPal).

When you make a payment via PayPal, the eSIM service provider and PayPal will collect your order information, transaction and consumption records, and payment records for the purpose of confirming and processing the recharge transaction.

Please note that, in connection with the purchase and payment process, Yuejiang does not directly collect or obtain the foregoing order information, transaction and consumption records, or payment records. Yuejiang only obtains from the eSIM service provider your remaining data balance information, for the purpose of displaying such remaining data balance and enabling the use of the relevant connectivity services.

Refusal to provide the foregoing information will only affect your paid use of the relevant 4G data services and will not affect the normal use of other functions of the Product and/or Services. For details of third-party services' privacy policies, please refer to their officially published documents.

1.2.5 User Feedback

You may submit feedback regarding issues encountered while using the Product and/or Services through the feedback function in the App. We will collect the issue descriptions and contact information you voluntarily provide, for the purpose of customer service response, issue handling, and feedback of results.

1.2.6 Device and Service Operation Information

Based on the specific permissions you grant during installation and use of the Product and/or Services, we will receive and record information about your commonly used devices, fault information, and performance information, for the purposes of analyzing the operation of the Product and/or Services, improving and optimizing user experience, safeguarding account security, and providing after-sales services.

Such information includes device model, operating system, network access methods, types and status (including SSID and BSSID), OTA records, product logs and application logs (including records of your operations of the Product and/or Services), and service status information of the Product and/or Services (including memory and temperature).

1.2.7 Obstacle Avoidance Data

The robot collects video data and depth-sensing related data through cameras and depth sensors for the purpose of obstacle recognition and guiding obstacle avoidance. Obstacle avoidance information collected locally by the robot is processed only locally and will not be uploaded to any server.

1.2.8 Real-Time Video Viewing

When you operate the robot, you may view real-time images of the surrounding environment through the App. Real-time image information is not stored. To protect your privacy and that of others, you are advised not to place the robot in private spaces or operate the robot during others' private activities.

You may take photos or record videos within the real-time view. Photos or videos taken will not be uploaded to any server and may be saved to your mobile device's photo album.

1.3 Personal Information and System Permission Invocation

To provide you with complete functionality of the Product and/or Services, we may, after obtaining your authorization, invoke certain system permissions of your terminal device. The system permissions that may be invoked by the Product and/or Services, together with their corresponding purposes and invocation scenarios, are summarized below to enable you to more comprehensively and transparently understand how permissions are used.

You may choose whether to authorize us to use the relevant system permissions. Even if you have granted authorization, you may disable or re-enable such permissions at any time through your device's operating system settings. Please understand that certain functions require the relevant permissions to operate. If you refuse or withdraw authorization, we will no longer collect information related to such permissions, and the corresponding functions may not function properly, but this will not affect the normal use of other functions of the Product and/or Services.

1.4 Exceptions to Obtaining Authorization and Consent

You fully acknowledge that we provide services to you in countries or regions outside the mainland territory of the People's Republic of China. Under certain circumstances prescribed by the laws and regulations applicable to the provision of our products or services, we may lawfully collect and use your personal information without obtaining your prior authorization and consent.

II. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information

2.1 Sharing

2.1.1 Special Notes on Third-Party Service Providers

Please be informed that certain functions or services of the Product and/or Services we provide rely on third-party service providers. In order to provide you with complete Product and/or Services functions and a good user experience, we may share part of your personal information with, or entrust the processing of such information to, other third-party service providers, and integrate software development kits (SDKs) provided by third parties to implement the relevant functions described in this Policy (including data storage services, voice processing, etc.).

The purpose of sharing information is to realize the core functions of the Product and/or Services. When cooperating with us to provide services, third-party SDKs may collect your personal information. We will take necessary measures to regulate and manage the collection and use of your personal information by third-party SDKs to ensure that your personal information is effectively protected. However, please note that we are unable to fully control the products or services provided by third parties, nor can we control the personal information held by such third parties.

Issues relating to the protection of information during your use of third-party products or services are not governed by this Policy, and this Policy does not apply to any information that you voluntarily provide to third parties. Please carefully review the privacy protection policies of the relevant third parties.

2.1.2 Entrusted Processing

Where we entrust other parties to process your personal information, we will enter into strict confidentiality agreements or data processing agreements with the entrusted companies, organizations, or individuals, clearly specifying matters such as the scope of entrustment, processing purposes, processing duration, processing methods, categories of personal information, protection measures, and the rights and obligations of both parties. Such entrusted parties are required to process personal information only in accordance with our instructions, this Policy, and relevant confidentiality and security measures.

If an entrusted processor needs to change the purpose of personal information processing, it shall obtain your authorization and consent again; otherwise, it shall bear corresponding legal liability. If you refuse to allow an entrusted processor to collect personal information necessary for the provision of services, you may be unable to use the Product and/or Services functions provided by such entrusted processor.

2.1.3 Other Sharing of Personal Information

Only under the following circumstances may we provide your personal information to companies, organizations, or individuals other than the aforementioned third-party service providers:

i.Where your explicit consent or authorization has been obtained in advance;

ii.Where you actively request such sharing;

iii.Where it is in accordance with relevant agreements entered into with you (including electronically executed online agreements and corresponding platform rules) or other legal documents;

iv.Where it is required by laws and regulations or by mandatory administrative or judicial requirements;

v.For the purposes stated in this Policy, we may share your personal information with our affiliates, but only to the extent necessary and subject to the purposes declared in this Policy. If an affiliate needs to change the purpose of personal information processing, your authorization and consent shall be obtained again;

vi.For the purposes stated in this Policy, certain services may be provided by authorized partners. We may share certain personal information with such partners in order to provide better customer service and user experience.

Please note and acknowledge that when you voluntarily disclose or share personal information or other information with third parties (including unspecified recipients), any information you disclose or share may be read, collected, and used by any third party. You are advised to carefully consider whether to publish or disseminate content containing personal information through the Product and/or Services.

Yuejiang shall not bear any legal liability for consequences such as information leakage or misuse resulting from your disclosure or sharing of information.

2.2 Transfer

"Transfer" refers to the transfer of control over personal information to other companies, organizations, or individuals. We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual unless one of the following circumstances applies:

i.Where your explicit consent or authorization has been obtained in advance;

ii.Where you actively request such transfer;

iii.Where it is in accordance with relevant agreements entered into with you (including electronically executed online agreements and corresponding platform rules) or other legal documents;

iv.Where it is required by laws and regulations or by mandatory administrative or judicial requirements;

v.Where a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy liquidation, asset transfer, or similar transaction is involved and such transaction includes the transfer of personal information, we will require the recipient company or organization to continue to be bound by this Policy. Otherwise, we will require it to obtain your authorization and consent again.

2.3 Public Disclosure

"Public disclosure" refers to the act of publishing information to the public or to an unspecified group of persons. We will publicly disclose your personal information only under the following circumstances:

i.Where your explicit consent or authorization has been obtained in advance;

ii.Where it is required by laws and regulations or by mandatory administrative or judicial requirements.

vii.Where it is necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract at your request;

viii.Where it is necessary to maintain the safe and stable operation of the Product and/or Services provided, such as discovering or handling malfunctions of the Product and/or Services;

ix.Where it is related to our performance of obligations prescribed by laws and regulations;

x.Other circumstances as prescribed by laws and regulations.

Please be informed that, in accordance with current laws and regulatory requirements, where anonymized personal information is shared or transferred and it is ensured that the data recipient is unable to restore or re-identify the personal information subject, we are not required to separately notify you or obtain your consent.

III. How We Transfer Your Personal Information on a Global Basis

In principle, the personal information collected and generated during the operation of this App and related products/services will be processed by us or our service providers in accordance with the business functions described in this Privacy Policy. As the Products/Services adopt a globally deployed architecture, in order to provide functions such as account services, remote control and image transmission, and AI voice interaction, your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions outside your place of residence. For example:

  • Basic account data used for App user registration and login is stored on Alibaba Cloud servers located in Frankfurt, Germany;
  • The robot's real-time image transmission function is implemented via Tencent Cloud relay services, and the relevant data may, as needed and on a proximity basis, be stored on Tencent Cloud overseas service nodes (including Singapore, North America, and Germany);
  • For the AI online voice conversation function, the stages involving speech recognition, speech-to-text conversion, and transmitting text to a cloud-based large model are supported by AWS large-model services, and the relevant data may, as needed and on a proximity basis, be stored on AWS overseas nodes;
  • For the AI online voice conversation function, the text-to-speech (TTS) stage is supported by Alibaba Cloud's text-to-speech service, and the relevant data will be stored on Alibaba Cloud servers located in Singapore.

Depending on business expansion needs, if we need to transfer personal information outside your jurisdiction—whether to our affiliates or to third-party service providers—we will comply with all applicable laws. Such jurisdictions may have different data protection laws, or may not have specific data protection legislation in place.

If, due to business or management necessities, we subsequently need to transmit your personal information collected and processed under this Policy to overseas recipients (including enabling access to your personal information by other jurisdictions), we will, prior to such transfer, strictly comply with the requirements of applicable laws and regulations and regulatory authorities, and fulfill the corresponding legal obligations. These obligations include, without limitation, informing you of the overseas recipient's name and contact details, the purpose and method of transfer, the categories of personal information transferred, the methods and procedures for you to exercise your rights against the overseas recipient, and obtaining your separate and explicit consent, where required.

By implementing uniform security protection measures, we will ensure that your personal information receives a level of protection not lower than the standards set forth in this Privacy Policy.

4.1 Storage

4.1.1 Storage Location and Confidentiality Measures

We will store your personal information on servers provided by us or our service providers in accordance with the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and will keep such information strictly confidential in accordance with applicable laws. Where, under certain circumstances, it is necessary to transfer personal information collected within your jurisdiction to entities located outside your jurisdiction, we will act in accordance with laws, administrative regulations, and the requirements of relevant regulatory authorities, and will require overseas entities to keep your personal information confidential through effective measures such as entering into agreements and conducting on-site inspections.

4.1.2 Retention Period

In general, we retain your personal information only for the minimum period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless you separately consent to an extended retention period or unless otherwise permitted by law. In the following circumstances, we may change the retention period of personal information in order to comply with legal requirements:

i.To comply with applicable laws and regulations;

ii.To comply with court judgments, rulings, or other legal procedures;

iii.To comply with the requirements of relevant government authorities or legally authorized organizations;

4.2.1 Security Management Measures

We adopt various preventive measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. To ensure the security and compliance of your personal information, we have established strict information security and compliance systems and procedures, and professional teams within the company are responsible for the strict implementation of such measures.

4.2.2 Data Minimization and Deletion Mechanisms

We take all reasonable and practicable measures to ensure that no irrelevant personal information is collected. We retain your personal information only for the period necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this Policy, unless retention needs to be extended or is permitted by law. When our products or services cease operation, we will promptly stop collecting personal information. We will endeavor to notify you of such changes through push notifications, announcements, or other appropriate means, and will delete your personal information or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

4.2.3 Security Incident Response

We recommend that you pay close attention to the protection of your personal information when using the Product or Services, especially your account login credentials, passwords, and other important personal information. We will also make reasonable efforts to ensure the security of your personal information. However, please note that no information security measures are completely foolproof.

If a security incident occurs, we will promptly inform you of the relevant circumstances by email, letter, telephone, push notification, or other legally required means. Where it is difficult to notify each personal information subject individually, we will issue announcements in a reasonable and effective manner. We will also proactively report the handling of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities as required and closely cooperate with government authorities.

4.2.4 Internet Security Risks

The internet environment is not completely secure. We will make every effort to ensure the security of any information you transmit to us. If our physical, technical, or administrative safeguards are damaged, resulting in unauthorized access to, public disclosure, alteration, or destruction of information and causing damage to your lawful rights and interests, we will bear corresponding legal liability.

4.2.5 User Security Responsibilities

To prevent account theft or information leakage, we recommend that you do not disclose your login passwords or account information to anyone (unless such person has been formally authorized by you), so as to prevent password leakage and endangerment of your account security. We also recommend that you do not use our products and services on any devices or operating systems that have been modified beyond the scope permitted or warranted by device manufacturers (for example, "jailbroken" mobile devices), as this may pose a risk of personal information leakage.

4.2.6 Unauthorized Access and User Notification Obligations

We shall not be liable for security vulnerabilities resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your personal information, where such failure leads to third parties accessing your personal information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any unauthorized use of your account by other users or any other security vulnerabilities occur, you shall notify us immediately. Your cooperation will help us protect the security of your account and personal information.

To enable you to more conveniently access, correct, and delete your personal information, while safeguarding your rights to withdraw consent for the use of personal information and to cancel your account, we have provided corresponding operational settings in the product design. You may refer to the instructions below to exercise your rights:

5.1 Accessing, Copying, and Correcting Personal Information

You have the right to access, inquire about, and correct your personal information (except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations). You may do so independently through the following methods:

i.In the App, access, obtain, and correct your email address via "My – Account – Email Address";

ii.In the App, access and obtain information regarding your purchased and used data traffic via "My – Rover – Traffic Inquiry";

iii.For other personal information generated during your use of the Product and/or Services, if you wish to access, copy, or correct such information, you may contact us through the "My – App Settings – Feedback" function in the App or via the contact details specified in this Policy.

5.2 Deletion of Personal Information

Under the following circumstances, you may request the deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the contact details specified in this Policy:

i.Where our processing of personal information violates applicable laws or regulations;

ii.Where we collect or use your personal information without obtaining your consent;

iii.Where our processing of personal information violates our agreement with you;

iv.Where you have canceled your account;

v.Where we terminate our services and operations.

We will assess your deletion request and, where it meets the relevant requirements, take measures including technical means to process such request. i.In the App, enable or disable voice wake-up and AI intelligent voice dialogue functions via "Explore – Voice Assistant";

ii.Change or withdraw authorization for Bluetooth, location, local network, storage (photos, media, and other files), microphone, speech recognition, and camera permissions through your device's operating system (functions may vary depending on device models). We will collect personal information based on your settings. If you withdraw authorization, we will no longer collect personal information related to such permissions.

You may also withdraw all authorization for us to continue collecting your personal information by canceling your account.

Please understand that certain business functions rely on necessary personal information to operate. After you withdraw consent or authorization, we will be unable to continue providing the corresponding Product and/or Services functions to you and will no longer process the relevant personal information. However, this does not affect personal information processing activities that were carried out prior to the withdrawal of your consent based on your authorization.

Please note that account cancellation will result in the clearing of all account-related information. You are advised to proceed with caution. After account cancellation, we will cease providing the Product and/or Services to you, and will no longer collect, use, or provide externally any personal information related to such account, and will delete or anonymize your personal information (unless otherwise required by laws and regulations).

Please be advised that account cancellation may affect your ability to seek after-sales remedies and any remaining balance under designated products previously recharged (if any). You are advised to carefully follow the official account cancellation procedures or rules.

If you are unable to complete the relevant requests through the foregoing methods, or if you believe that we have acted in violation of applicable laws and regulations or this Policy, you may contact us through the contact details provided in this Policy. To ensure account and information security, we may verify your identity. If you have an online account, we may require you to log in to verify your identity. In principle, we do not charge fees for reasonable requests. However, for requests that exceed a reasonable scope, Yuejiang reserves the right to charge cost-based fees. In the following circumstances, we are unable to respond to your request in accordance with laws and regulations:
