Warranty Terms
- The warranty period of Rover X1 starts from the day when you receive the goods.
- If the product you purchased is beyond the warranty period, you may still obtain our support through paid repair services.
- A valid proof of purchase, such as an invoice or warranty card, is required to submit a warranty claim.
- During the warranty period, any unauthorized modification, disassembly, or opening of the device is strictly prohibited. Such actions will result in the immediate termination of the warranty. For detailed information, please refer to the warranty coverage section below.
Warranty Period
- Rover X1 comes with a default one-year warranty.
- Note: The warranty period may vary by country or region in accordance with local consumer protection laws. In all cases, the locally applicable legal requirements shall prevail.

Warranty Coverage
Note: The following situations are not covered under the free warranty.
- Product identification information (such as barcode or model number) has been altered, removed, or damaged.
- Damage caused by intentional or negligent human actions, such as improper use by the user (e.g., drops, impacts, immersion in liquids, or forceful handling); this also includes damage resulting from use in abnormal environments or failure to follow the instructions in the user manual.
- Damage caused by abnormal voltage conditions, such as overvoltage or unexpected power outages.
- Damage resulting from disassembly, repair, or modification performed by non-DOBOT personnel or unauthorized service providers.
- Damage resulting from irresistible factors, such as floods, fires, traffic accidents, lightning strikes, and similar events.
- Accessories, consumables, and similar items are not covered under the warranty.
- Devices whose hardware or software has been modified without authorization from DOBOT.
- Damage caused by the use of non-original or third-party accessories.
- Damage caused by overloading beyond the specified safe weight limit.
- Evidence of dust, sand, water, or metal particles inside the robot.
- Malfunctions or damage resulting from failure to use, maintain, or store the product in accordance with the instructions provided in the user manual.
- Devices that have been used beyond the warranty period.
Repair Instructions
- Before requesting after-sales service, please ensure that all data is backed up and that any sensitive information is removed to prevent data loss or leakage. DOBOT is not responsible for any loss or disclosure of data contained in the product.
- By requesting after-sales service from DOBOT, you are deemed to authorize DOBOT to perform any necessary operations for service purposes, including data modification, deletion, or factory reset. DOBOT will handle user data solely for the purpose of repair, in strict compliance with the Data Security Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, ensuring that data is neither disclosed, altered, nor used for third-party commercial purposes.
- You are responsible for the shipping costs when sending the product to DOBOT. Upon receiving the product requiring warranty service, DOBOT will inspect it to identify the issue and determine responsibility.
- If the issue is confirmed to result from a product quality defect, DOBOT will fully cover the costs of inspection, parts, labor, and return shipping.
- If the inspected product does not qualify for free warranty, you may opt for paid repair, with all associated inspection, parts, labor, and return shipping costs borne by you. Alternatively, you may request the product to be returned unrepaired, in which case you will be responsible for the shipping fees.
- For environmental and safety reasons, do not return batteries. If a battery is sent, DOBOT will dispose of any battery found to be in abnormal condition, and it will not be returned.
- If the delivery fails or the recipient refuses to accept the package due to an incorrect address provided by you, any resulting consequences or losses will be your responsibility.
- To protect your rights, please carefully inspect the product for any damage when receiving a unit returned from DOBOT for after-sales service.

Liability Disclaimer
- To ensure your safe and proper use of the product, please carefully read the User Manual before powering on the device. Fully familiarize yourself with the basic operating procedures, safety warnings, liability disclaimer, and related rights. Failure to follow the manual or improper use may result in equipment malfunction, property damage, or personal injury. By using the product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily accept all the terms outlined in this statement.
- This product is a professional intelligent device, not a toy, and must not be used independently by anyone under 18 years old. Always keep it out of children’s reach. If operated in an environment where children are present, continuous supervision is required to prevent any accidents.
- To reduce safety risks, this product is not recommended for use around vulnerable groups such as infants, children, pregnant women, the elderly, or persons with disabilities, nor in densely populated public areas. DOBOT shall not be liable for any personal injury or property damage to these individuals caused by improper use of the product.
- This product features a highly precise internal structure. Unauthorized disassembly, hardware modification, or system tampering by individuals is strictly prohibited, as is repair by any third party not authorized by DOBOT. DOBOT will not be liable for any malfunctions, hardware damage, safety risks, or other losses resulting from such actions.
- This product is intended for use under normal conditions only. Operation in extreme or unconventional environments—such as high temperatures, prolonged direct sunlight, severe cold, chemical exposure, immersion in water or fire, or strong electromagnetic interference—is strictly prohibited. DOBOT will not provide warranty service or compensation for any damage or functional failure resulting from such use.
- During the normal usage period of the product, any malfunctions or risks arising from natural wear and aging of components (e.g., minor scratches on the casing, wear on connectors) or from natural battery degradation (battery capacity declining to 80% or above of the rated value is considered normal) are regarded as normal risks associated with reasonable use. DOBOT shall not be liable for any related issues or consequences.
- You must comply with all applicable global export control regulations, trade sanctions, and related laws. The product and its associated services may not be used, in any form, to support terrorism, nuclear facility construction, biochemical weapon development, or the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction and their delivery systems, or for any other unlawful purposes that endanger national security or public interests.
- You are required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the location where the product is used. DOBOT may adjust product features, service offerings, or privacy policies as necessary to ensure compliance with the legal requirements of different countries or regions.
- You must ensure that this product is used exclusively for lawful and legitimate purposes. It may not be used to engage in any activities that infringe upon the legal rights of others, including privacy, intellectual property, trade secrets, or personal rights. You shall bear full responsibility for any legal disputes, administrative penalties, or civil liabilities resulting from improper use of the product.
- During the use of the product, any user-related data—including images, location information, and operational data—must be collected with proper authorization from the relevant parties and used solely for the agreed lawful purposes. DOBOT will process such data strictly in accordance with its warranty and privacy policies, and shall not be liable for any consequences resulting from users’ improper collection, use, or transmission of data.
- You must strictly adhere to the rated load, continuous operating time, and standard charging specifications stated in the User Manual. Overloading, exceeding the recommended operating duration, or using chargers, batteries, or other accessories not supplied by DOBOT is strictly prohibited. DOBOT shall not be liable for any malfunctions, damage, or safety hazards resulting from such violations.
- If direct property loss is caused by a hardware defect in the product, DOBOT’s liability shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by the user for the purchase of the product. For indirect losses such as business interruption, data loss, or loss of anticipated profits, DOBOT shall not be liable, except as otherwise required by mandatory law.
- Subject to applicable national laws, regulations, and relevant policies, DOBOT reserves the right of final interpretation of this statement. DOBOT may update, revise, or terminate the terms of this statement at any time, without prior notice, in response to product iterations or compliance requirements. The updated terms will be published through official channels such as the DOBOT website, official product app, or WeChat public account. Continued use of the product from the date of publication shall be deemed as acceptance of the updated terms.
- You must strictly comply with the provisions of this statement and follow the guidelines in the User Manual, while also acknowledging and adhering to any supplementary policies or usage rules subsequently established by DOBOT. Any direct or indirect losses, safety incidents, or legal liabilities arising from failure to use the product in accordance with these documents shall be borne solely by the user, and DOBOT disclaims all liability thereof.
